Kohlberg's Conventional Moral Stage
Understand the model, recognise it in a stem, separate the look-alikes, then apply it.
01Memory anchor
Declined, deliberately, for this concept: Kohlberg's six stages are graded by the STRUCTURE of a justification (self-interest, versus social approval, versus abstract principle), not by six countable, enumerable features — the kind of content a mnemonic like SIG E CAPS or CAGE compresses well. Any acronym across the six stages would either reduce each stage to a single keyword (which collapses the exact distinction the exam tests — Stage 3's 'people's approval' versus Stage 4's 'the rule itself' — into two interchangeable-looking letters) or would only capture the stage names without the reasoning-anchor each one requires to actually apply in a vignette. The discriminators field above (verdict vs justification; person-anchored vs rule-anchored; fixed law vs negotiable contract) carries this concept's real teaching weight instead.
